Caseworkers Required -for new, specialist support service for adult victims, beginning in April 2020

Salary £23,369 pay scale point 16-20

Full Time, 37.5 hours a week

Following a successful funding bid to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner Thames Valley, the Partnership has been selected to deliver a new, specialist support service for adult victims, beginning in April 2020. The new service will be tailored to meet victims’ individual needs, and could include trauma-informed interventions in individual or group settings, advocacy support including help to access mental health or drug and alcohol services, restorative justice conferencing, as well as practical and emotional support to navigate the criminal justice process. We will work closely with two partner agencies (OSARCC and Trust House) bringing professionals with different specialisms together.

We now therefore seek Caseworkers to join the team to provide prevention, intervention and crisis support to anyone who is/has experienced or is deemed to be at risk of any form of harm (i.e. sexual, modern slavery, criminal, financial) and to identify and engage with these individuals on a one-to-one basis, enabling them to access services and make positive, empowering choices to change their lives. A knowledge of the full range of civil, criminal and other practical support options available, and the role of an independent advisor within them is necessary.   Roles will be available at  Reading, Oxford and  Milton Keynes in the first instance and further opportunities may become available,   although not necessarily expected to be office based as the work is hands-on and will entail being out and about in the given area dealing with service users. These are full time roles although job share and flexible working may be available on request.

Referral Coordinator

Full time, 37.5 hours a week
Salary £21,500

We currently have a vacancy for a Referral Coordinator, based at the Partnership offices in Haddenham, near Aylesbury, HP17 8JB. The post will cover two of our current programmes: New Leaf which offers support and mentoring to offenders on release, as they resettle back into the community and Family Matters which supports vulnerable families who are impacted by having a family member/loved one in prison.

This role is initially offered on a contract basis until March 2021, but this may be extended, depending upon funding at that time.

The Role: This is a  rewarding and interesting administrative based role, responsible for providing a comprehensive, confidential and professional support service and acting as the single point of contact for incoming referrals from external agencies and self referrals from offenders themselves and their families. This role is also the key liaison point between the Programme Manager, team members, partner agencies and volunteers. The lynchpin of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the case management system, ensuring prompt and efficient transfer of information, keeping good lines of communication open and ensuring the efficient working and throughput of cases. You will be handling sensitive and personal information on the clients we support, therefore ensuring confidentiality and security of information at all times is paramount.

Strategic Network Manager

Hours: 0.8 (30 hours a week)
£31,201 – £31,968 pro rata
(based on £39002 – £39961 FTE and depending on experience/qualifications)

Fixed Term Contract until December 2022

Following a successful funding bid, the Partnership now invites applications for a brand new post of Strategic Network Manager. The new role will report directly to the Partnership CEO and will manage an exciting 3-year project aimed at strengthening the capacity of the voluntary sector in Thames Valley. This sector is significantly under-represented, under pressure and under resourced – the new role will identify and develop ways in which voluntary sector organisations can work together to build capacity, strengthen relationships with criminal justice agencies and promote positive change and innovation in service delivery.

The role will be based in the Partnership offices in Aston Sandford, Buckinghamshire HP17 8JB and will require travel within Thames Valley and occasionally beyond.
