Referral Administrator

  • Job Description

The New Leaf Team  administrator is responsible for providing a comprehensive, confidential and professional support service and acting as the single point of contact for incoming referrals from external agencies including the National Probation Service, Police, Social Services, Schools as well as self-referrals. This role is also the key liaison point between the Programme Manager, team members, partner agencies and volunteers.  The lynchpin of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the case management system, ensuring prompt and efficient transfer of information, keeping good lines of communication open and ensuring the efficient working and throughput of cases.  You will be handling sensitive and personal information on the clients we support, therefore ensuring confidentiality and security of information at all times is paramount.

VOLUNTARY ROLES

Volunteer Mentors :  Our Young People Project provides a support structure for vulnerable young people through a  carefully managed, risk-assessed process.  We are looking to recruit volunteer mentors across the Thames Valley area (Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire) including specific areas of Milton Keynes, Oxford, Maidenhead, and Slough.  For this voluntary role you will:

  • Be interested in supporting vulnerable young people through engaging with them, offering support and guidance in a number of key areas
  • Have your own transport
  • Be able to commit to meeting weekly with the young person during school hours, and be available by telephone

A mobile phone, any necessary equipment and full induction/training will be provided. All our volunteering roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and references. We reimburse expenses incurred whilst volunteering.

Our next induction day will be held on Wednesday 10th of July from 10.00 to 15.00 in Haddenham, HP17 8EE (light lunch will be provided)

Trustee Positions:  We have a number of Trustee vacancies we wish to fill, to complement our existing Board and guide our successful and growing organisation into the next phase of development. As well as those with general Trustee experience,  to expand the knowledge base and help strengthen the Board overall we are also specifically looking for those with :

  • lived experience as a victim of crime, or as an offender who has made changes to their life
  • HR experience
