VACANCY – TecSOS Manager

Hours 30 hours a week (0.8 FTE)

Salary £50,000 (pro rata, based on FTE £62,500)

This role is offered on a contract basis for 12 months

The Thames Valley Partnership urgently seeks a Manager to support the work of the TecSOS project. Working in conjunction with the Vodafone Foundation and the police, the project uses technological solutions to protect victims of domestic abuse.  TecSOS is now live in 42 UK police forces and over 15,000 users have benefitted from the service. It is also live in a number of other European countries. The total number of TecSOS users now exceeds 82,000 worldwide.

Due to this success and the expansion of the current TecSOS product range an opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced manager to join the team and assist with the increase in workload. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to make a real and positive impact on the safety and well-being of those who suffer domestic abuse. This is a home based role but will require some travelling and occasional hotel accommodation away from home.   The successful candidate will, amongst other attributes, have previous experience of working with the police, familiarity with current domestic abuse legislation/procedures and will demonstrate ability to operate at both strategic and operation level is essential.
