Workshops & Training

We offer multi-agency workshop training introducing the key facts and issues surrounding prisoners’ families and enabling delegates to gain an insight into the emotions and feelings of prisoners’ families.  We encourage partnership working therefore, the local Probation officer and Prison officer are invited for their input.

Workshops include action planning, encouraging practitioners to champion the issues within their agency and guidance on how to use the resources to support families and link effectively with the local Criminal Justice partners. The team at Thames Valley Partnership offer support in taking the work forward.

Tailored workshops (with specialised resources, focus and materials) have been delivered to the Prison Service, Probation Service, practitioners working in educational services and even to Key Stage 2 school children!

Some delegate feedback from our training …
